When it comes to Hollywood, unemployed actresses will do almost anything to land that big role that brings them fame and prestige. This, of course, is nothing new. True, behind every actress there has to be a degree of talent. But that doesn’t always cover it.

A smart agent, a savvy manager, and, well, sometimes a highly skilled plastic surgeon can all work together to help boost an acting career to the next level.

In fact, cosmetic surgery and Hollywood share a very lucrative and discreet relationship.

As you can probably guess, most actresses will never reveal going under the knife, but speculation arises all the time.

However, in some cases, celebrities have used plastic surgery to their benefit—neither denying nor admitting to having work done, but flaunting it nonetheless for the added press and eventual work that arises from the attention.

Take Pamela Anderson as an example. Not long after being discovered, Pam put her famous surgically enhanced breasts on open display in several nude spreads in Playboy. Inevitably the nude spread lead to modeling and film work. Her admiration for breast augmentation not only inspired women around the world to seek their own procedures, but also inspired the actress to revisit her breast implant surgery a couple times over the next few years.

And although these days Pam denies having any additional work done, electing to “age naturally,” there has never been any doubt that the reason she landed her gig on “Baywatch” in the first place was for her looks—or more precisely, her boobs.

Sort of like Courtney Cox these days…

Don’t get me wrong, Courtney has been in showbiz since her stint in “As The World Turns” in the mid-80s and hit it big time with the massively popular “Friends” in the 90s, but lately Ms. Cox has been hitting it big time at her plastic surgeon’s clinic.

Apparently, Courtney Cox is striving to live up to her “Cougar Town” title-character. As the actress approaches her 50s, she looks better than ever.

Courtney has not confirmed having any procedures done, but the rumors and photos suggest breast augmentation with breast implants, possibly with a breast lift since her chest didn’t appear to lose shape after the birth of her daughter, Coco.

In addition, Courtney seems to be very botox and lip-augmentation friendly. She has even been quoted as saying, “A lot of people are overdoing Botox, but I think everything in moderation is fine.” She has also stated in the past that she has issues with aging.

In 2006, Courtney Cox told Marie Claire magazine that “it’s hard getting older; it’s hard not to be the young one anymore.”

Well, all the power to her! Courtney Cox looks better than ever both on the beach and on her hit TV show. Whatever measure she’s taken to remain youthful is definitely working to her benefit.
